Hey guys, (and girls if there are any on the forum)
Im new to the forum, and not been fishing too long either, so forgive or ignore my own ignorance or stupidity, but i have been floating around the forum for the last day or two and found some good info so i thought i might say hi and ask a question.
Im going to be staying in Cahore Co. wexford.. and i noticed the marks noted on the maps, will try get to cahore point, or beach for a few hours if possible, was wondering is anyone couls suggest any good Lures/spinners for casting (dont have a beach caster, just a standard 6'4" roughly)
all my fishing experience is in australia, and alot of that was spinning or trawling out the back of a Kayak in and around sydney harbour or above.
any and all suggestions are welcome, and appreciated thanks
Cheers
Owen

Welcome to the site owen.
I'm a relative novice myself, but the best advice I've been given so far with the spinners/lures is to have a good selection with you.
If you find something isnt working after 10/15 minutes, change it.
Vary between metal lures (bass bandit/german sprat etc) and soft plastics/jellys (sandeel imitations and the like).
Try different colours, different speeds of retrieve, fish at different depths.
I'm sure you know all this, but thought I'd mention it all the same.
Best of luck with you trip, looking forward to your report.
