Hi all,

Just wondering does anyone know any tackle shop in Dublin that sells pyramid leads??

I suspect some cunning tactics are afoot with a question like that Alby :lol: :lol: :lol: I am sure all will be revealed in the reports forum one day soon 8)

As always Tom, there's cunning tactics behind this one. But I'll certainly not be posting the results in the reports forum, I don't want a certain Mr. Rampent Wreckfish to find out before our little "Last Man Standing" event :lol: :wink:

Hey bud. If you are still struggling to get some I have any amount of them from 1-6 oz .

Alby,
these would be easy to cast yourself in slightly damp fine sand. all you need is one lead to make the shape in the sand.

whats the advantage of these boys - is it a concession on the grippers so you dont spook the ray, but still have a bit of hold?

i use these lads quite a bit now.. they do seem to hold bottom better than grip leads especially when there is a lot of movement in the water, like estuaries or bay areas where there is a flow of water during the tide.

have used a 4oz pyramid where a 5oz grip wouldn't hold.. the only downside to them is, because they have a flat head, they create alot of drag in the water and its slightly harder to retrieve them as they act in the same way as diving lures..

You're so kind....You haven't any 8 oz have ye? you know what the tide is like over this side :lol:

Luckily enough i've bought Henry's, Southside & Viking out :shock:
