protocol on buying and selling gear

hi all,

as a newcomer to this forum i was just wondering what the protocol is for using the site for requesting the availability of, or 'advertising' the sale of second hand angling gear between members. obviously i wouldn't like to see reams and reams of such treads on what is clearly a superb and dedicated angling site. any thoughts on wether this is a no-go area? what do you think yourself kieran?

just didn't want to offend anyone!

what i'm really interested in is getting my hands on a (or maybe a few) second hand abu 6500 CT silver rocket. i regard this reel to be the best ever made and would consider one in any condition. i would also be interested in its predecessor the black version.
