Was wondering if any of you guys has had a bash there lately. Read thighlines site seems to be a good variety of fish up there. Got three days off so want to try somewhere different.
Or if you got any other promising marks that could boost my 2008 catch list.
Also if any tips on good bait for this spot would be welcome
cheers

I fished is a few times over the last few months with not a lot of success.
I got some shore rockling after dark on a few occasions and a bunch of juvenile pollock on feathers another time.
Crabs are a big problem when bottom fishing.
It also tends to have a lot of weed. I havn't fished it since early June so the fishing might have improved but the weed has probably got worse.

Forgot to mention that you will definitely need peeler crab if bottom fishing there - the crabs can strip any other bait off the hook in minutes. I got the rockings on peeler.
Float fishing with rag might be worth a try - I did have a go at float fishing with lug but nothing was biting - althought the conditions were far from ideal that time - cold NE wind.
