Quote of the Year so far....

#1 Post by alby »

Out last night with Paul (him who adores the male chicken), Dennis & Eric, doing a bit of spinning and plugging. It was getting late and myself & the lads were packing up, but Paul was still furiously plugging with a J13 for a bass.

Next of all we hear a shout, "just got a follow off a savage bass", and then 2 seconds later up pops a seal 5 yards in front of Paul.

I'm not sure if it was one of them had to be there moments, but there was tears rolling down the 3 of our faces

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
