People:Me and Cortaz
Duration:2 hours
Tide: 11ish
Weather:good
Bait:lugs
Rigs: 2 hook paternoster
Results:zilch
Report: Was out earlier in the morning in a canoe and water was muddy. Was using plugs and did not really expect fish to see them.
On arriving at the venue with Cortaz expected to see the usual millions of mullet bubbling around. Not a fish to be seen. After 20 minutes without a bite Cortaz reckoned we would not catch anything and he was right.
However, as usual with the bass master the stories flowed and it was a very enjoyable night.

Dont know if it helps Stan, but the mullet were around the outside of Helvick head in close to the rocky shore last night. It was flat calm as its sheltered from the NW wind.
I chucked out a lug out amongst them for about 45 mins around 8 o clock last night in case of a stray bass but got nothing. Only a half hearted attempt as I dont really fish the middle of a falling tide unless Ive a good reason.
