Species list for year

Last year we did a species list for the year and I found it interesting. With fish, where you first caught it this year and bait used on that occasion. I thought I'd start it off again as I'm unlikely to up it at this stage:

Only 12 but I missed out on rock fishing trips for wrasse or trigger fish. The fish I most wanted was a decent sized bull huss.

Sigh...

Did very little fishing in the second half of the year but I did add a Shorthorn Sculpin (on a 3/0 loaded with Mackerel!) to my species list from the flat rocks, yep no 5, in Dunmore East. Had some nice Ballen Wrasse to 5 lbs and a bit but never got a chance to find a really big one - they're out there!!!

I've also discovered that Thornback Rays are two a penny on the west coast thanks to JAKES and a few others, many thanks lads for the assistance.

Thanks for the replies. This should help me up my count for this year and I'll hopefully meet up with col to up the species of rays I catch this year. Though I did mange to up my count by one for last year over the chrismas with a sea trout in glin to sand eel.
