Kiliney Bay

#1 Post by dillon_the_rabbit »

People:Me, myself and I

Duration: 4 hours

Tide:Dropping

Weather:Perfect, flat calm, no wind

Bait:Mack, squid, sandeel

Rigs:Animals

Results:A ton of dogs

Report:Started out at first light from Kiliney Beach car park and headed out to some rough ground about 400m in front of the tea rooms. Was getting a full house a drop on the feathers, so had fresh bait within 5 minutes. Dropped 2 rods over the side baited with mack fillets, whole squid and sandeel. Was getting dogs from the start, usually a double shot most of the time. Towards the end of the session, I had a fast run, and failed to connect. Didn't get bitten off, so maybe it was a smut mouthing the bait. Guess I'll never know :)

Cheers

A busy 4 hours, welldone.

If you ever got a spare seat on that boat of your's, I'd love a session with you.

We can split the fuel money
