People: Me.

Duration: 7.30-11.30am.

Tide: Full & ebbing.

Weather: Calm, sunny, warm & some cloud.

Bait: Fresh mackerel, frozen sandeel & razor.

Rigs: 1-up/1-down, feathers.

Results: 3 mackerel, 1 dab.

Report:
Not alot to report really. Arrived just about on full tide. Tried a few feathers after lobbing out a 2-hook flapper. Had 2 macks after a few minutes, then a little ratchet run on the other rod. Pulled in to find a little dab. 1 more mack shortly afterwards, then nothing for the next 3 hours or so. Looked liked perfect conditions for the rays, but no sign of 'em. Fishing the ebb probably didn't help... :?

No sign of the macks in big numbers yet either, despite small shoals of sprat around the place. :?
Soon...

Macks, The place was teaming with them yesterday, 1 fish box in 1/2 hour 2 people, mouth of Greatmans Bay.

Spent the remainder of the evening giving them away to neighbours. Pollack are acting a bit funny none of the main marks producing any decent size.

Rays are v small also.
