I fish with a surf master 850.......and have had no problems at all, comes with a spare spool and holds shed loada line. And at £50 its a bargin... if your tackle shop wont do it for that price then try E-BAY
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

The Shimano power aero xt10000 with bait runner is an excellent reel it has a low gear ratio of 3.5:1 not the best for fast retrieve but will handle big fish and will pull in a bin liner full of kelp without breaking a sweat its an expensive reel but it will last a lifetime.

The bait runner feature is excellent also especially when fishing for fish that like to run, also handy for quick setup.

I use a couple of Daiwa Emcast Pro reels and can not fault them.
