Weather:fine

Bait:crab mack sandeel lug

Rigs:all types

Results:1 garfish

Report:the plan to get as many venues as pos . the only thing we got was sunburned .willy had a good gar on the pier . myself and liamport had to listen to him for three days aboutus being danglers.O the shame of it all.Still all in all it was a good week end Were have all the fishes gone

know the feeling - nothing doing up in belmullet for a whole day cept macks - can only get better i suppose :D

The fishing is very poor around Tralee Bay this year. Very few ray around, 2 club comps in the SPA and only 2 ray caught. We have a comp on Fenit pier this Sunday and if the Gars don't show up it could be very slow indeed.

Hi All as you can see we had a very poor return for our efforts ,one of them things ,conditions were good, bait was good no fish . Ah well theres always next weekend May have to try cortaz theory but not very good at mathmatics better luck next time tom good photo tom witch one is the gar

Nice gar, suprised to hear the fishing was so poor for ye.Had a decent weekend's fishing around Tralee myself.Better be lucky than good in this sport :) .Think i was fishing beside ye friday evening, had a couple of fish before ye arrived but went quite as soon as the tide started to flood just as ye arrived :(

hi aidan good to hear u had a few fish ,wasnt us friday we were out sun , mon fishing was dire not a touch on 3 venues thats fishing for ya, are u fishing the comp sunday with tra bay? are you the guy had his first stinger a couple weeks ago there was 3 of ye together fishing

Hi Liam,that was me alright wth my first stinger.It was some evenings fishing for us :D Not a member of club yet, have an application form at home for two months but keep forgeting to drop it back to landers.Hopefully i will have joined before the banna comp, eager to give club fishing a go and pick the brains of all ye experienced fishermen

Hi Aidan,

If you want to be a member in time for the Banna comp you should get your application form into Colm ASAP. I think new members are voted in at the monthly meetings, there might only be one before the banna comp. Give Colm a call to see what the story is.

hi john what is the fishing like at banna do you fish up at the black rock or any place that is a hot spot futher down.there is one spot that looks like it might produce any advice would help tomtum
