I want to catch a Smoothie

#1 Post by Liamo »

Hi Lads,

I've been moved to Dublin 4 days a week for the rest of the summer - today is day one and I'm missing my beautiful Kerry already:-(

However I was hoping to target some smoothhound on the east coast for the next few weeks. I'm looking for any info on marks close to the city (as I'll fish evenings after work). PM's regarding tides/locations and where I might get some peeler up here would be most appreciated. I'll return the favour if you guys are ever down in Kerry some time.

Cheers,
Liam

theres a few caught every year from the north wall but i have never tried it. i usually head down Arklow/Wexford way at the end of June start of July to get them. fresh crab is the best on a flooding tide just before it gets dark.
Wish list for 2015: sword tail, black Molly, horny cobbler
