Ye I might be free ive an exam at 3 till 5 so should be able to meet up with you. Where you thinking of fishing? Sorrento area had lots of pollack last year but they were all fairly small havent had any this year yet. Could also try around whiterock off the rocks.

Its not too hard to cast into the wind could find a place on the rocks to cast with it. Anyway at sorrento the fish are never that far out.

Sure, everyone welcome. I have a spare fly rod for those interested, in trying that out.

I'm looking for ideas on locations. Sorrento, sounds ok. Any other suggestions?

Of course, i'm just a wee lad from Daniels country. So i'll need directions :?

I call it sorrento but its actually called hawk cliff's its on the vico road on the way towards whiterock beach. Not sure of any other places with access to real deep water for the pollack if we can fish in front of the changing rooms in hawk cliff the water is a good bit deeper there. Some nice wrasse there as well.

Went to a gig last night, just arrived into work now
Dying. But if I can sneak out. I'll be there.
Anyone got Mullet flies?

If we are trying for Mullet, i'm only going to take my 6-7. So if anyone needs a fly rod, tell me now.

I'll tie up a bunch of mullet flys when I get home they are fairly easy. Brong some bread as well to ground bait for them.

found an easier fly to tie, size 6/8 carp hook, cosmetic foam and supper glue,
1-scrunch a small bit of foam up and place some glue along the shank of the hook, pinch the foam around the shank and leave to dry, looks very real, what time will you pick me up at jack
