People:myself and gunther
Duration:3hrs
Tide:11.00
Weather:foggy and light winds
Bait:plugs
Rigs:
Results:21 bass, myself 15 gunther 6.
Report:Decided to try an old mark that has been battered by nets in recent years, found memories and all that.Conditions ideal and spirits high especially after 1st cast with a fish of about 3lb.
Things got a bit trickier after that so the big guns came out of the rusty lure box,all hail to the jointed original and still the best thunderstick. The fish came thick and fast after that ranging 2 to 5lbs ,a great morning but it was worrying to see definate net marks on the bigger fish, but more worrying were the lice like creatures in the mouths and gills of a lot of the fish. They were definately not sea lice as they looked nastier and ironically the fish most affected were the ones in poor conditioning post in my opinion their spawning exploits.
All fish were released as usual so hopefully we will meet again when they get to a decent 10lb size
Tight lines
ps house move done so roll on the fishing

Cheers lads,
it was a good one and hopefully it will get better, recent reports are that a lot have been showing in recent weeks which is good but i do think that they have been around all year to be honest its just that its been to hard to get onto the rocks with all the crappy wind.
I'm still baffled as to what the lice like things were and concerned as to whether or not the fish would be affected
Thats all for now and rory i'll give you a shout soon its just that we've been trying to organise things in our new house so there hasn't been much time for fishing and i have'nt access to a computor only the one at wo
rk which by the way i shoud'nt be using
oops writing gone mad but i'm sure you get the jist of things.
