Do a search in Shore Reports for Little Killary, Glassilaun or Lettergesh - quite a few threads on these marks, all within a few miles of Delphi. Flatties on Lettergesh and flatties, ray and dogs from the other 2.
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

The pier at the little harbour sometimes has a few Mackerel on it, but failing that take a hike up the little road running west from the harbour. There are plenty of spots to try with a bit of clambering. You can cast easily into 20-30 feet and probably more with a bit of effort. Good chance of thornbacks, ask Kieran!!
There are also the little gravel strands to the east of
Delphi where the Salmon nets men ply their trade [not until July??] The sea bed is generally flat mud with few snags.
You might even be able to talk the Adventure centre to take you out on a rib??
When are you there??
