Can anyone recommand a spot near wicklow / Brittas bay area and what can we expect there.
Have to entertain the whole family so some beach sand is important.

Have you seen Magheramore beach.....The surfers beach..
Go through Wicklow Town heading south on the coast rd to Brittas Bay. Go past Blainroe Golf Club, keep going, there's a lane (very rough)has a brown metal gate looks like an entrance to a forest its on the left just before the last right bend before the T junction to Brittas or Wicklow, there are normally cars outside.....best thing is to leave the family on the beach and head of to the right....a local told me bass can be caught there I had no luck when I was there maybe you will do better...
Steve.
