Smooth Hound

#1 Post by SHANE R »

Hi lads
I'm heading to Wexford for the May bank holiday weekend and I was wondering am I too early to target smooth hounds. If it is possible to get them would I be better up around Kilmuckridge or should I stay around Rosslare. I'll be staying in Wexford town so I'm fairly central.

Cheers

hi shane, head for the cannons on rosslare strand,
night sessions imo are better
frozen or freash crab pennel pulley rigs
in saying that you will get good hounds on the east coast
hope this helps

To get to the The Cannons am I right in saying that when you come into Rosslare on the road between the pub and the shop and facing what used to be the Martell that you turn right and go up the hill. And then head down the steps onto the beach? Most of my previous adventures to Rosslare were drink fuelled and up at the discos at the other end of the village.

The Cannons are just below The Bay Pub.

You are correct.

Often had a few cans at the top of those steps so I'm sure i'll find them again.
