ah conger

you neglected my two consequential massive bites that i failed miserably to connect with

first cast frozen sandeel and the tip went crazy had the 3/0 coming out just above the head - and the head was gone - just bit it off after a couple of seconds being "on"

then popped it out again to 50 meters the hook through the head - after 5 mins again a big bite rod rattling in the rest - let it go a bit - hook himself you know

and then pulled into it - sweet its on! was retrieving again for a few seconds and dead again - sandeel half eaten - bugger didnt want to let go!!!

got a small flattie later - had a dog on and he let go once i broke the surface with him

it was eerie dead calm there all evening

interesting to finally meet kilkeeconger

nah its just to the south west of carrigaholt

if you go into cross take a left at a small communications building and you arrive at a t junction go left and your at the sea

its down on google maps as cloonconeen?!?! or rehy east on mapquest

there are two semi-circular bays separated by a point - the westerly one is larger and has a set of cliffs to the west of it also

very weedy to the eastern side of the bay stretching to the point - that was the one we were on

the signs in cross say ringabella anyway

Well done Brian. At least it wasn't a blank! :P
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
