Nice Bass there dennis, I'll get myself one of them soon enough  (i hope), must get out and collect some crab, it defo seems to be the east coast bass bait

It was indeed me with eric and jack.

I was having no luck with the pulley rig, so put a 3 hook flapper out close in just to keep myself busy, had a few whiting and dabs.

After seeing your bass decided to keep my concentration on the single rod so packed away the 3 hooker, didnt wanna miss any bites now did I.

Eric and jack left around 22.45 I stayed on in hope of my first bass but it wasnt to be. Last cast at 23.00pm, was about to pull the rod out and had a couple of knocks, didnt look strong enough to be a bass but I left it there a while to see.....Couple more knocks and it looked like a doggie bite this time.

Sure enough, reeled in and had a doggie, it took sandeel at around 10 yrds out.

Thats was enough for me, packed up and off home to bed
