People: BigMac, Me.

Duration: 6pm - 9.30pm

Tide: Pushing

Weather: Big Easterly!

Bait: Rag, Bluey, Sandeel

Rigs: Scratchers

Results:

Rods : 6 Coalies, 1 Shore Rockling
Creel : Shore Rockling, Shore Crab, Velvet Swimmer.

Report: First trip in a month and a half and it was good to get back out again. Didn't hold up much hope of fish until Dark but tried hard for the first wrasse of the year. It never materialised and my first fish of the night was from just off the lip. A Coalfish of 33cm.

Next bit of action was at distance on the PPT Sidewinder, got a noticable bite, even in that wind, hit it and was rewarded was a small coaly of around 20cm,

Another Coalfish of the same size was next from down the Lip on the Apollo. This one took Rag tipped with Bluey and in honesty I didn't even realise it was on!

Managed a Coaly and a Rockling from the Middle on plain Rag on the PPT, Saw the bite for the Coaly, didn't see any bite for the little Shorey.

Funny my last 2 fish were a double shot of Coalfish on the apollo, and though the fish measured 34cm and 20cm respectively you'd hardly have known they were on that brute of a rod!

Good to get back out with Marty, will try not to leave it so long next time.

nice report fella, good to see the reports from ya again and plenty of fish caught as well. I was out fishing myself for the first time in a couple of months also. Seems im a bit out of practise, managed to bust up my abu and caught nothing. But it's good to get out again.
