braid-what type?

could anyone suggest a good brand of braid,breaking strain etc.want some for my shimano spinning outfit,reel size is 5000.allready have 12 pound mono on other spool.also where can it be got cheaply.mostly bass spinning around cork-waterford area,cheers.

I'd use PowerPro 20 or 30lb. Look in eBay for US sellers. Lots of them sell the stuff.

Personally, I don't think the colour will make much difference. I've got it in red and moss green.

i think the red looks gammy so i use green :D more green stuff in the water then bright red too so maybe its less likely to be seen as a foreign object then red would
