just wanting to know when ye people are going to start go in out mackerel fishing this year.I'm thinking the start of may.what about ye

Me, well I will be trying for them in 56 hours and 52 min’s,
that’s the plan 7am Saturday

Will do,
and thanks... L/W Will be around 10.30 am good for me to collect a few crab's before i fish the first quarter for mackerel,
Then try further up the coast for my first wrase of the year and if i hear the mullet are in i will go further up again and try for a hat trick, :D :D :D ,

just checked the weather... dry / wind 17mph max / presure low, 8)
the only thing that might slow me down is the wind will be from the east,

But as they say ( A bad day's fishing is better then a good day at the office )

If i blank on i will be :o :evil: :oops:,

Leon,

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you and you may already have seen that I did ok with the mackerel,
Caught 27 between 12.30 and 1.50pm,
Tried for the wrasse but only had one good bite and missed it, went to see if the mullet could be had but none showed,

I will be trying again this weekend they must be around there by now,
