Australian Practice 13/04/08

Well a few of us had a great day down at Sale courtesy of Mark Johnston and his mother in law for allowing us to use the farm field today.

The weather was kind with no rain to speak of and only very light drizzel.

Results were as follows.

Murray Healey 150 gram 120 meters.

Graham Johnston 100 gram = 175.60 meters new PB
125 gram 159.06 meters , 150 gram 152.0 meters and 175 gram = 140.23 meters.

Mark Johnston 125 gram = 213.0 meters, 150gram 206.30 meters and 175 gram 199.1 meters.

Jeremy Schrader 100 gram on the S= 203.7 meters, 125 gram on the SS = 230 meters, 150 gram on the SS = 228.40 meters

The food put on by Graham and Mark was excellent and a great day was had by the few who attended.

Looking forward to the interstate comp on the 26th of April at fred Finch in Berkley.

Great casting guys, you must be liking the SS jeremy? some very good chucks there :wink:

Paddy ,

In regards to the SS , yes I am finding it to my liking with the butt section locking up better than the fulcrum butt that I have on my ZTi and XTR 50/50.
I don't however feel that it will throw any further than these as I have done better with both of them previously. What I am finding however is a more consistent feel to my cast and with that my confidence is going up.

It will be coming with me to the BD. :D
