torrevieja beach fishing

help going to torrevieja and hope to do some rock fishing spinning can any one help with what will be the best gear to take i am takeing a small teleascopic rod but what sort ofmupps or jellyworms please help going fri 19 of april.

bring some bass plugs with you and fish just as its getting dark i fished not to far from torrevieja there were lots of bass and gilthead bream but found them very hard to catch used every bait under the sun ,i was talking to a english lad who boat fishes out that way and he said to use prawn tail peeled so give it a go.

Had some success spinning off rocks between Cabo Roig and the Captians beach. Don't know what they were. About mackerel size and they fought like hell.

It is said that bass are caught but I have never seen one. Most of the Spanish fish for tiddlers.
