Brought brother in law first time fishing with his new gear. Arrived on beach nice surf but very very cold would have left after half hour except for Eddies enthusiasm. 6 surfers arrived as we Didi didn't even get out of the camper surf was irregular, not a tap til 930 I got a very strong bite might have been a bass missed anyway half an hour later began to get regular coalfish bites. Eddie caught his first fish about 3/4 lb I had one same size couldn't put bait on with frozen hands appreciated my bed after that
