seals on the mark...

#1 Post by tomi »

Hi guys!
Next weekend I'm gonna try Rossaveal for a bit of night fishing for Conger. I knew, there is fiew seals in the harbour, so what if one of them pick up my bait? I don't wonna hurt animal, by hook. Or maybe they are smart enough, to stay away off my rods, and don't treat my mackerel baits as food? (hopefully)

also I'm wondering is not to early for congers on this spot?,
and what else I have chance for there?

All advice be handy

If they want the bait they'll take it. They go crazy when you have a load of people out mackerel bashing and they dive when people cast, I've brought back in half macks and only got them in because I was using braid.
It's not something you can influence much, but like I say if they want your baits they'll be off with them.
