People: Shannon town angling club. 5 anglers

Duration:1:30pm till 5:30pm

Tide:12:38 (0.2) 18:56 (5.2)

Weather: Sunny with cluds. Could northerly strong wind

Bait: Fish baits

Rigs: pater nosters and pulleys

Results: I had three dogs, two of the lads had two dogs and one other dog caught,

Report: All my fish caught at distance in the last hour of the comp on golds rigs to sand eel on the top hook. The dogs were finicky with alot of missed bites.

That was a good days fishing I havent been out since we last fished there a few weeks ago must head out soon again and hit the beaches :)

well done Donagh great result. take it you one the comp.

I love catching dogs to be honest. . it wasnt so long ago i couldnt catch them for the life of me. They can provide great spot on light rods.

I remember watching Henry Gilbey catching down some part on the shannon. He was fishing with Julian Shambrook (Anyfish Anywhere) and as i recall they were catching rays and huss. Looks like a nice part of the country
