People:me

Duration:12:00-3:00

Tide:Spring low " 12:20

Weather:sunny with light north westerly

Bait:mackerel

Rigs:pennell clipped

Results:5 ray to 5lbs :D :D :D

Report:Arrived alot later than i wanted but its tough gettin out of bed early on a saturday morning!! nothing unusual to report got the fish all through the session with 4 out of the 5 fish being males which is unusual, must be because its so early in the season. I also missed two more definate ray bites which im not too worried about no point in being greedy! lost a rig to a snag and pulled out a few more times due to the rig being pushed into weed by the strong tide which is not the best tide to fish here..no conger either:(

Great fishing Gearoid. Was thinking of going down that way next Tuesday/Wednesday. Any pointers gratefully received - where to fish/tide, etc.

Have you ever fished Littor Strand or Kilterry Pier?

Well done on the rays. I presume your fishing the same mark I had the 4lber two weeks back.

The rays seem to have bypassed to the outter makrs of the estuary with only dogs showing out there at the moment.
