Interesting, nice day out.

Saw, for the first time, a flying boat land and take off. Later found out that it was in connection with filming Gordon Ramsay. He was doing a documentary on urchins.
Found, again, someone fishing ( commercially ) my intended mark. Another first, this guy was using an otter board. Using a string of rubber eels, about 8 or 10. He was pulling up pollack and was there at 11am and still at 5pm.
Saw first puffins of the year.
Whe will I ever learn. Tie a new shock leader after each trip out. I use braid with 4 m length of nylon leader.
BTW caught plenty of pollack and wrasse. Using pirk and muppets. Later used feathers. Fish were found to be very local to features.

Good to hear you're back on the water, Peter. Have some work to complete on mine - could not get it done with all the sh*t weather but got started on it this morning; still bloody cold though.

The worst time to have a heart attack is while playing charades! Specially if your friends are no good at it.
