pilmore monday 31 tuesday 1

me and another
four hours both days
flooding start off ebb

monday lovely and sunny tuesday windy and chilly
crab
flapper rigs flowing
monday 6 flounder tuesday 3 flounder 1 coalfish



headed to pilmore monday31 two hours into flood got first fish after half an hour 47cm flounder 1kg second fish quickly followed 37cm caught four more over next two hours 33cm 37cm 39cm 43cm.with the tide ebbing left happy with a couple kept for tea.
tuesday pilmore again back for low water things very quiet for first two hours only one small coalie.two hours into flood first flounder 43cm two more flounder quickly followed 32cm 39cm left about half tide with the fish feeding good session and some fine quality fish

Hi peakle,
where about did you fish? We used to find above the Hurling field the best.
We would also aim for a medium size falling tide. What condition were the flats in ? They should be putting on some weight by now. Given the Dims of the ones you caught they would be close to specimen weight in the Autumn. That 47cm one would be in excess of 3 lbs.
