Very true Donal, and I will be forever greatful to yourself and your friend that collected the rods... Good thing it was in a fairly quite area, unlike Malahide with the camera. I can honestly say, I might have knocked beach fishing on the head for a little while had I not recovered those rods.....

Thanks again buddy.

Hang on. Were you fishing with him or was he fishing with your rods? If he was using your rods and you weren't there then he can't say its not his fault. If you were there though.... man up and take it on the chin, they're your rods, you should look after them yourself. If you weren't there of course, then yeah, he's a bold boy!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

in that case if the guy has any kinda decency about him he should man up and replace them for you :x . if the shoe was on the other foot i bet he would expect you to do the same. i once left my mates berkly digital scales behind at a mark and drove back 15 miles to search for them but could'nt find them in the dark, so i replaced them. it's a matter of respect and common courtesy
