could anyone give some info on shannon estuary at mo heading up to try for some ray are they showing whats best location and time of tide etc

Use the Search facility on the Shore Angling Reports with Shannon as the keyword - it will throw up several years worth of reports. Seach is the second option on the top row under the name of the site directly above.

Check the http://www.cfb.ie for the old maps, this site and shannon fisheries board for the marks page. You can't go far wrong low water up on most marks as as starting point with fish baits on pulleys. Fishing is still pretty crap in the Estuary as would be expected.
