People:myself

Duration:6to9.30pm

Tide:rising

Weather:gentle breeze

Bait:rag, old lug, mack

Rigs:3 hook flapper

Results:21 whitting, 3 good coalies, 1 dab, 1small codling, 1 11 inch dab, 1 bearded rockling




Report:fished the lighthouse pier in wicklow, lovely night cold with a gentle breeze and a lovely full moon. all fish were taken no more than 5 yards from the pier wall. casting at distance only caught me back breaking killoughter dogs

Thats a great haul for a 3 1/2 hour sessions, welldone.

Would you expect that quantity of fish from wicklow pier usually?

Well done Neil, a fine catch, including some very rare killoughter dogs, only the second time this year :wink: . That should have said "myself and eyesreilly", but what can I say!!! Lovely night, gentle breeze!!!!!, its too much for me to bear :roll: Next time!!!! I'm off for 10 days so cant wait to get out, see you soon.

How long would it take me to stop, fully kitted out, travelling at 4 knots :? , dont want to end up in the hotspot myself :wink:
