Wexford 13th march surf beach

Peopleme on my own again:

Duration:4hrs

Tide:after the moon

Weather:southerly dropping

Bait:peeler

Rigs:running

Results:5 bass




Report:fished a dropping tide with a baiting southerly swell the bass were dancing in the surf 5 bass to 3.5lbs great sport and all returned to fight another day

brian 2.5 to 3.5lbs not big fish but on a 2 to 4 oz outfit great fun ,,nearly a plugging outfit,,

One question :

Was there much weed around there after the recent weather?

More anglers should go this time of year,,because there is no weed as such,not a lot of new growth in the system ,,
and if you get amongst a few fish it makes it that much more enjoyable

terrific fishing there Graham, :D would love a PM on this too!, constantly try to spin or bait for those laddies but seem to be at a loss. :(

Great sport, I've seen some huge fish on north wex mark but had wrong gear to try for them. :x
