penn powerstick beach

Anyone used the penn powerstick beach rods thinking of getting one.Any other recomendations for a beach rod around 200euro

sorry just to sayalmost all my fishing is done on east coast beaches e.g Greystones,newcastle,kilcoole,morriscastle etc.

I'm definitely not an expert in rods but I did look into the penn range alot this year because I bought one of their range. What I would say is for 200 euro you would be well able to pay for the next range up which is a surfblaster or even the PPT range. I was also told that the old extreme vemon match type rods were great for the smaller fish and clean ground on the east coast. These are now replaced by the Guvnor Surfblaster rods. It would be worth also popping an email to veals as I found they gave excellent advise as well as trying Neil Mackellows site.
