At least I wasn't planning to get the hull wet this weekend. Hopefully it will have cleared by next weekend and I can get the new boat out.

If you though Fishing was a tad frustrating Conor, wait till you start playing regular Golf.... Can be a pain at times, especially if you are trying to work the HC down... Play a bit myself, but only in some decent weather. I get about 20 rounds in a year.
Currently off 18

I know, I know..... If it helps, I normally drink beer and talk fishing after the golf. Think one of the buddies has taken the bait, he is looking to get out fishing this year.

Golf?

#8 Post by bigkev »

I always thought golf was for people who couldnt fish!

That Tiger Woods is a terrible fly fisherman!!

Funny story.... Tiger Woods is actually quite a good fisherman. Mark O Meara (Another good golfer) got him into it as far as I know. Any time he is in Ireland, he often gets a couple of days fishing in. Mostly River Trout and Salmon fishing.

Weather

#12 Post by Pat »

Spotted a two masted tall ship struggling in the heavy seas and storm force NW winds approx two miles off Ballybrannigan yesterday. Thought they were looney at the time. Expected them to make Cork Harbour by 8pm approx. It limped in this morning at 11am, with all sails torn to shreds. Made the main news on TV3 at 5.30.
