Hi Sean R

shore conger - I always thought it was 10 lbs or 4.54 kilos but you can check on the irish trophy fish site, the new site for the Irish Specimen Fish Committee.

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

A boat specimen is 40lbs and going from memory a shore conger is 25lbs but I'd have to double check that. I would doubt that its as low as 10lbs.

the irish specimen fish committee weights are the same for boat and shore
@ 40lbs. the irish federation of sea anglers have seperate weights for boat and shore. their shore weight for conger is 20lbs.
