People:me and doc

Duration:9pm till 12 midnite

Tide:high @ 8.30pm

Weather:calm no wind, cold icy.

Bait:lug and squid

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:me- 1 dab, 1 nice flounder, 2 whiting. doc- 1 doggie, 2 whiting.




Report:was ment to fish a comp on sunday but didnt so we had plenty of bait for a session. headed out some where local and handy for a few hours. it was well past nine again we got our bait out. see was very calm and full moon out so the beach was well lite up. we were hoping for a good sesssion but the fish were not biting, thought they would wit the full moon but wasnt to be,. so packed up and headed home to the warmth. :wink: :wink: :wink: least igot to try out the 2nd hand abu reel i got off ebay . spot on it is.

is doc looking to see if his toes are still on the end of his feet :?: ,one thing i notice on these freezing night,s is anglers seem to be able to get the fish fix in a much shorter session :lol: :lol: no 6 hour sessions reported this week :shock:

yes rodger i would have to agree wit ya. i am far from a fair weather fisher man but when the weather is good and the fish are biting i would easily sit on a beach for 24 hours if i could . but when the weather is bad your sessions are always shorter. but the summer brings more species, so roll on the summer :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
