buying boats in uk
Hi
First thing you need to do is check that he boat si not "warm" - there are websites out there which list boats that have disappeared from the owner's premises. If the vendor can not establish the bona fides of the boat, walk away. I am sure others here will tell you similar stories...
Thanks

Hi Pike,
You will not be liable for Tax or import duty on and second hand boat. Just hitch it up and drive home :D
On Kierans post you can always check this site... http://www.stolenboats.org.uk
Anything listed on http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk should be fine as it would hardly be up in public view with pictures, if it was stoled.
Good Luck.
Kev
