People:me and big mick

Duration:8-12 midnight

Tide:high around 1 am

Weather:mild, very breezy

Bait:squid, mack

Rigs:3 hook flappers

Results:15 whiting, 2 lsd

Report:There were two other anglers on the pier when we arrived, and they told us they had caught lots of whiting earlier so it wasnt long before we were into them also. They came steadily over the few hours but to be honest it was so windy i couldnt feel most of the bites. The doggies were different, i caught two and another one slipped off the hook as i hauled him up onto the pier. It was big micks first outing of 08 and he caught 6 of the whiting (and my line about 3 times :( ). At midnight we called it a day :? , as the wind had increased and i was afraid our gear would be blown away, a couple of our bait trays had rambled off on their own with us in pursuit!
