Fished 10am -7pm-High water 1pm
Thanks firstly to neilus-cheers mate
Fished using mackerel strips, sandeel and squid.
Dave_b, me and the brother. Our record recently has been shocking, but had a lovely day yesterday.
Caught doggies, bull huss, whiting, dabs and a conger
Weve recently bust a gut trying to catch a conger and what happens, you sling a bait over the pier and catch one without trying. I told dave as we looked over the pier, "ahh its only a strap, Ill handline it for you". 3 Feet later and with half an eel still submerged we reassessed and put it 20 pouns min. Being annoyed and uncooperative it refused to allow us to haul it up the pier wall, and then it was gone. Dave didnt look too gutted, much.
Great day, great fishing

Nice one Kev,

Good to see you got that Conger, even if your weren't species hunting. Sounds like a decent fish too.

Well done Kev.

Where were ye fishing yesterday?
Did ye catch all day or at high tide?

Regards,
Sean.
