thinking of heading to dunlaoire on monday to celebrate my first day off this year. just wondering if you get pollack and wrasse there at this time of year or do the small ones disappear too???

best bet would be the back of the east harbour but it might still be a little early for them. usually they start to move back onto the harbour around march but you could still give it a go. id say if you were going to fish Dun Laoire head to the end of the west harbour and fish for whiting and dabs there should be plenty of them around and you have the chance of picking up the odd dog or codling aswell. lug and mackeral is the best bait.
