Idea on some winter shore marks

Just over for a few days visiting parents on Loop Head. Anyone any thoughts on somewhere to head for a few hours tomorrow, feel like getting the rods out while the boat is out over winter and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on where might be worth a stab. Heard rumours of a few decent cod marks from the shore in the area but they m,ay be out as there is still a fair sewll from the west!!

Any thoughts welcome

Carrigaholt beach may have ray. The pier may have ray and other species. Heard about cod from the rock marks but would be dangerous and have never tried it.
