People:Myself and uncle

Duration:8:00pm to 12:30am

Tide:HW at 12:35am

Weather:Strong se wind and very cold but dry

Bait:Frozen lug and razor cocktails

Rigs:Pully pennels

Results:Me 5 cod 2 coleys 1 cod being 6 3/4 Ibs. the uncle small whiting coley and codling




Report: Headed to youghal to fish the carpet quay and after 2 hours fishing notting only a very small whiting and coley to show for it, So decided to head to another spot, so first cast there had a 6 3/4 pounder and had a fish every cast after that even had a double shot of coley and codling on the pennels. The night started off slow but turned out to be a good night i must say very happy with myself.

Thats a good cod Tom. We were down in Youghal three weeks ago and struggled to pick up a few :?
Sea Species(25) bass, codling, whiting, turbot, seatrout, stingray, pollock, coalfish, longspine scorpion, ballan wrasse, dogfish, ling, pouting, poor cod, dab, mackerel, smelt, sandeel, launce, bull huss, painted ray, thick lip mullet, golden grey mullet, rock goby.
Fresh Water (2) brown trout, sea trout

Tom thats a cracking fish good to hear there still around,try and leave some of the biggies for the rest of us. :cry: :cry: Good fishing keep up the good work and who knows the way your fishing at the minute maybe the next photo will be of you holding a double figure cod .

It has taken me nearly 5 years to catch fish like that and a double would be a dream :o
