Need help from you Deise boys . . .

#1 Post by EricH »

Lads,
Sorry if this is a similar topic to others, (mainly about Waterford) but I am trying to organise a trip to Waterford City and fish the river for a few codling on the 28th December.
I will be travelling with a few mates from Wicklow in search of a few half decent (or decent :D )Codling.

Can anyone provide details of best bait, tactics, exact venue's etc and what tides are best?

You can PM me if you prefer . . .all help would be really appreciated!!

Many thanks in advance.

eric by that time all the cod will hve been te river, only small ones left which can be caught round cheekpoint...lots of whiting and flounder too...but no harm trying for a big one, but my past experience dictates this one im afraid
