Liscannor Co Clare

I was going on a coastal drive with my girlfriend when we stopped at Liscannor to take a walk on the pier the place was boiling with mackerel and I mean some big fish it was low tide and the fish were in water a few feet deep within casting distance if only I had my fly rod they were lashing away at the sprat and a light trout rod would have done me.
The water was flat calm like a lake always the same when you dont have a rod oh well maybe next time.
