Might be going out in the boat this weekend,have fished around muglins a lot and a bit off Irelands eye. Is there anyother spots around that might hold some other fish than pollack. Was thinking of maybe trying out near kish if the weather is nice. Cheers for any advice.

i often anchor at the maidens rock always get fish codling small ling pollock and wrase use crab or worms,the kish or burford should produce fish . if fishing for tope down tide fish uptide with worms tiped with sguid or mack ive caught gurnard flats doggies and even asmall lemon sole this way ,id love to get out aswell , to busy at the moment. bought a warrior 165 in the summer did have a strikeliner havent used it much .next year going to give some wrecks abash. :

Cheers for the advice hopefully I'll be able to get out. I use a Rib to fish from its not the best fishing platform but its very very fast.

where there is lobster pots there is broken ground and on broken ground there are cod,small ling,wrasse etc... bray head would be a better shot than the kish.

Cheers for that Eric, if its a bit lumpy out there I'll give bray head a shot. Where abouts is maidens head concancook?

its the most northlern part of dalkey island the tides can be strong but the ground is mixed try fish in close but be carefull of rocks just under the surface

Thanks for that. The rib can run into fairly shallow water shouldnt have too much trouble.
