advice on new rod

hello lads, i want to get myself a new rod to use with a fixed spool reel.as i am not the best caster in the world :oops: was wondering if someone could reccomend a rod to get. i have around 300 euro to spend.

try the grauvel range of rods, viking in bray stocks them. i dont actually have one but i know a lot of people who have good things to say about them.

Sandstorms have good bite detection and give a decent cast, you might be able to pick up a greys or penn rod for the €300

see if you can get your hands on a greys triplex 16 foot, should get one for that price or there abouts.

great rod and has an almighty bite detection and great power, i have had specimen smoothies on it and not had a bother
