Fished the pier from low water to high had one conger to 20lb ,davey lost one and loads of small pollack and whiting ,we decided to try for minny species for a laugh on our bait casting rods 1/2oz weights and size 4 hooks baited with mackerel ended up with goldshinny wrasse, sea scorpions, rockling and davey hooked a conger which didn't stay hooked to long !! good fun though while waiting for a conger run on the boat rods .
