Inch beach in cork?

#1 Post by bouncer965 »

Wondering if anyone has fished inch beach in cork? Im looking to go down and try some surf fishing heard there is a chance of bass and flounder down there.

When surf fishing is it best to cast as far as possible or is it best to try and keep the bait actually in the surf itself???

I tried at garrettstown but drew a blank but it was really calm and no surf there at all. Also thinking about trying my luck with a lure down at inch and as i use waders hopefully will get my first bass.............HOPEFULLY!!!!

You can get some nice bass there with bait, not too sure about lures.
Go on a middle to strong tide, from sunset onwards and bring crab, lug and mackerel.

Hi Bouncer,i have heard of people taking fish on lures from the rocks to the right of the beach but have only fished the beach twice myself so i'll let some of the others give advice on the surf fishing, but reading what Tom said it seems spot on.
